AI Toolkit: five free tools
The “AI visibility” market sells technical SEO dressed up as a score. We built a site with tools that measure only what can be observed, and that run without paid APIs and without running costs.
- In short
- Five tools: AI answer analysis, what AI sees on a page, feed check, AI crawler access and sitemap check. All deterministic, no paid APIs.
- The tool logic is one file that runs on the server and in the browser, so pasted text and a submitted URL give the same number.
- Node.js, Express and SQLite without a build step; fetching external URLs is guarded by custom SSRF protection with tests for nine vectors.
Decisions that hold
- No framework and no build step. Pages render on the server from plain templates. A site about what AI sees on the web must itself be readable by AI.
- One logic for both sides. The tools are in one file loaded on the server and in the browser. The result must not depend on which way it came in.
- SSRF protection. An endpoint that fetches any URL on a visitor's request is a textbook hole. The validation function is passed all the way into the connection itself, redirects are followed by hand.
- Content is not stored. The URL, score and run time are stored. Never the feed content or the page text.
Why we do it
The tools are not the product. They are the reason a visitor stays and comes back. Articles bring search traffic, the agency brings enquiries. The same model works on chci-ppc.cz.
